Sheets of Plastic 1/64 Ace Hardware

Which retail store sells Novus? If I don't want to postal service social club the stuff can I pickup in some local store?

I'd heard that some motorcycle stores will behave it. It'due south used to polish the windscreen on helmets. Endeavour calling around.

i get information technology at "the container store"...

Yep. I buy mine at the Harley shop.

Thanks for all the replies, it's good to have some local options.

I picked some upward at Ace Hardware one time.

Yep, got mine there as well. Also have heard motorcycle shops and boating supply stores.

I know the Ace hardware has it by my house merely I believe PinballLife nonetheless sells it cheaper.

If you've never been to a Tap store, you need to become downwards there. While you're there, selection up two or three different sizes of drill $.25 made for plastic. As well, get yourself a expert sized piece of mylar. They may accept rolls of both iii mil and 5 mil. Get some of both, if possible. Sold by the foot. Also get a ane 1/4" cube of acrylic to use for pounding downwards raised inserts. Doubles as a cool paperweight for your desk-bound.

They sell microfiber rags and sheets of polycarbonate (for protectors) too, but you can get those cheaper elsewhere (Wally World, Dwelling house Depot). Machining is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE there, and they won't motorcar anything they don't sell. Buy a cheap scroll saw instead.

Non necessarily local (but pretty darn shut for you); I picked mine up at amazon.

Some pet stores have it, as it can be used for acrylic aquariums. Just usually insanely priced.

Yeah, you lot can also find any sign shop they volition have it as well. Merely picked upward more this afternoon- paid a little more Amazon but I had it in my hand and walked out.

Great I volition definitely be checking out Tap Plastics soon for all the higher up good suggestions.

I need to get a sheet drinking glass or plastic for my Bugs Bunny translite. I have the translite already but not the piece of glass or plastic information technology clips onto. I was thinking of buying the material and getting it cut at Tap Plastics. By "Machining" in a higher place, are you saying they charge also much for cutting information technology to size? I hope not, because if I accept to cut information technology myself I might have some problem making information technology perfectly square.

The Ace Hardware by my house has information technology. Costs more than ordering information technology online though.

Most windshield repair shops (especially Novus shops) and auto glass shops carry it. Definitely your local Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer has it.

By "Machining" above, are you saying they charge likewise much for cutting information technology to size? I hope non, because if I have to cutting information technology myself I might have some problem making information technology perfectly square.

Yes. Y'all should exist alright with a rectangle though. They charge by the cutting. Since you would be only be making two cuts, it won't be as much. Anything intricate though and the charges add together up fast. For this example, using them is likely a adept idea. They will make the long straight (and make clean) cuts, which would exist very hard to practise at dwelling house with a curl saw.

I don't recall what they employ at the factory to cover translites. I assume information technology'south polycarbonate? I wouldn't put acrylic up in that location.

Got some at Car-zone once.

Big Daddy enterprises is the lowest price I've seen so far. Too tons of electronics and repair kits while your at it.... Not a retail store, only good luck finding a pinball shop. (And if y'all do let me know)

I want to update an quondam question in case anyone was wondering where to buy Novus i, 2 or iii as of today. I'thou located in Minneapolis, so y'all results might exist unlike where you lot live.

Local:

* Container Store - A three-pack of Novus 1, two & 3; 2 oz. bottles for $11.95. Check website for local availability.

* Harley Davidson Store - Only have Novus ane or 2. Each individual 8 oz. bottle is $4.95.

Best non local:

* Amazon (overnight or costless prime aircraft) - A 3-pack of Novus 1, ii & 3; 8 oz. bottles for $18.69. Or yous can buy individually for $v.79 a bottle.

My last canteen came from the local motorcycle accessory shop.

Rumor has it that some shipping supply place out by the airport has the stuff too.

Any eating place supply store will have it for polishing cafe sneeze guards and bullet proof glass.
